- Q: What are InfoLync's basic functionalities?
- A: InfoLync allows you to
- View data from multiple sources in a variety of formats

- Q: What data can I use with InfoLync?
- A: InfoLync allows for many types of data to be integrated. These include but are not limited to syndicated data from IRI and ACNielsen as well as consumer panel, factory shipment and POS data from retailers.
- Q: Do users need to be connected to a data source over the Web or network?
- A: It's up to you. InfoLync can run totally untethered (where users have full access and capabilities from their PCs), or users can connect to a centralized data source.
- Q: My sales organization includes several regional managers and a sales and marketing agency sales force. Can the entire sales team use InfoLync?
- A: Absolutely. Our licensing applies to your entire sales force, not just one user. In fact, the most successful implementations occur when the entire sales force uses InfoLync.
- Q: How do we train our users?
- A: Our experience has shown that it usually only takes a brief training session before users are ready to begin using the application. And often, this training can be conducted via the Web.
- Q: How long does it typically take to get started with InfoLync?
- A: It varies depending on the number of data sources. We've seen some clients train end users and begin using InfoLync less than 30 days after implementation
- Q: Can I customize the formats?
- A: Certainly. You can create the look and feel you like. Among other things, you can select charts and graphs from our library of time-tested formats or create your own. You also can add custom calculations to reports, use conditional formatting similar to Excel and customize your pages in many other ways. Plus, when new data is available, use InfoLync's “Smart Text” capability to update all of your documents.
- Q: Can I include audio or video files in my InfoLync presentations?
- A: Yes. InfoLync will support multimedia files in many formats. It also integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Office tools.
- Q: Some of my retailers define the category differently than others. Can InfoLync help?
- A: Yes. Our data import process allows for custom data mapping so you can accommodate different category definitions.
- Q: We already had a lot of material in PowerPoint. Can we use this with InfoLync?
- A: You can easily integrate PowerPoint presentations into InfoLync. Or if you prefer, you can output your InfoLync charts and presentations into a PowerPoint format.
